Who can join Chisne Community SACCO?
Any individual or group that meets our membership criteria and agrees to our bylaws can join – including salaried employees, business owners and farmers.
How do I become a member?
You can register online via the Member Portal or visit any of our branches. You will need your national ID, basic personal details, and to pay the one-time registration fee plus minimum initial savings.
What is the minimum contribution to my savings account?
The minimum initial savings is configured by the SACCO (currently set in the system settings). After that, you are encouraged to save regularly every month to grow your eligibility and dividends.
How are loan limits determined?
Loan limits are based on your savings and shares, loan product rules, guarantors and your repayment history with the SACCO.
How can I access my statements?
Once logged in to the Member Portal, you can view and download your statements under the “Statements” section.
Is my money safe with the SACCO?
Yes. The SACCO is licensed and supervised by SASRA, audited regularly, and operates with strong internal controls and governance structures to protect member funds.
